Apologies for not posting updates sooner. I’ve been dealing with a roller coaster of emotions and being pulled in many different directions. My work has generously engaged a private investigator to assist with the search. They started this week (August 5) and have spent most of their time getting up to speed.
During a recent meeting with them, we received a tip that someone had spotted my mom (or someone who looked like her) at the Levy Center, which is coincidentally located at Lawrence & Damen. The investigator pursued this lead, and we focused our efforts on the area around Lawrence, Uptown (particularly Argyle and the Southeast Asia Center) on Broadway.
Although we did not find Dolma, we were able to speak with other seniors and spread the word. We remain hopeful that the private investigator and the new detective assigned to the case will lead us to Dolma soon.
